Colonial agents' letters to and from the Governor of Connecticut, 1747-1761.

Correspondence, reports, instructions, accounts, and General Assembly resolutions sent to or from Connecticut's agents in Great Britain. Eliakim Palmer was agent until 1749, when he was replaced by Richard Partridge. The agents' main purpose was to get reimbursement from the Crown for expenses Connecticut incurred while invading Cape Breton, and that is the topic of most of the reports. There are also comments concerning the West India Merchants, peace with France, and the value of paper money.
